All my extremities are fro-o-o-oh-zen!

Right now I'm typing and a little cat's head is blocking my keyboard.  This is a good thing: having a cat on your lap is snuggier and cheaper than an electric blanket.  I highly recommend that part of your going green plan include getting a pet to keep you warm and happy.

Honestly, this whole post-every-day thing is a little exhausting.  And I also happen to know that Friday entries don't get checked much, so I feel like I'm writing nothing for nobody.  And that's not a nice way to finish this blog, really, because while it's always easy to be emo and mopey, it's just not right once you've shuffled out of your late teens.

Here are two thoughts: 

1. While Fridays are pretty awesome, sometimes it seems that the staggering amount of expectations we place on them make them less exciting-- more forced, less dynamic.  More stressful.

2. Georgetown: charming, expensive, and open at 10 am.  So you can spend your paycheck and have lunch in the red.

Make of them what you will.  I'm going to warm up and I'll talk to you on Saturday.

(Mm... hot tea)

I had my first mug of hot chocolate this season the other day. Tried a new one that was supposed to be gingerbread-flavoured. Sounded great, smelled horrible, tasted slightly better than it smelled. I've got another test package by the same company that I'm wondering if I want to try. It's white chocolate.

My two favourite winter drinks are hot chocolate with marshmallows (double yummy) and a hot apple cinnamon drink. It's not cider and needs a half-spoon of sugar in it but it smells and tastes delicious. It also soothes the throat if you have a cold.

Fridays are my wind-down days. I like to take it easy and prepare for a great weekend.

I notice a drop in readership on Fridays ... but they're all right back Saturday morning, so I better get cracking. :)

I do not recommend guinea pigs as snuggle devices. Cute as they are, they don't keep you very warm. They're small, and you need them in larger numbers.

I have class in Georgetown every other Saturday and just found out a new jewelry store is open here. My paycheck is screwed!

I have 4 cats, who don't like to snuggle, but a large dog who does :)
The whole weekend is pretty slow at my blog... :( I guess my readers all have busier lives than I do!
