I'm printing him out right NOW!

Thanks!

You've done it again! You've made me laugh and cry with dear old St. Anthony, patron saint of lost things--the most lost of which was, perhaps, my poor mother's mind. <3 <3 <3

I never heard that before about an upside-down St. Anthony statue helping to find a boyfriend, too funny! There are so many different subcultures of Catholicism and they all have their own unique customs.

We just always prayed for St. Anthony's intercession in locating missing objects. The one that I remember most vividly is when my dad's pair of skis were taken while we were inside the lodge one time. We thought for sure they had been stolen but we prayed to St. Anthony and my dad received a call the following weekend from the lost & found that someone had turned them in. We're still not sure how the person who had taken them got open the lock but at least we got the skis back.

St. Anthony huh? Good stuff. Thanks for posting too.
